|||Yes, for several American Express cards AmEx will approve or deny you within 60 seconds. The same is true for several Citi, Chase, and Discover cards. I believe Capital One does the same.

Oh, it's also worth mentioning that if you're traveling abroad, with Capital One cards you can avoid the usual 3% foreign exchange fee. Discover cards do the same, but they aren't as widely accepted overseas (only China as far as I know).|||Yes, there are. There are plenty of them out there, a lot of them can verify you write over the internet if you prefer. Try Capital One, Wachovia, Chase, Discover, etc. Those are a few that are common. Maybe you can do some searching on the internet to see what Visas are available. If yo do get one, try to shop for one with a low interest rate.
