How to verify paypal account by using credit card. How will the currency conversion take place from Rs. to $ ?

I m in India. Want to add credit card( visa) to my paypal account.Suppose i add 100$ from my credit card how much money will be used from my card in rupees ?|||zero since they do not take money off your credit card!!!|||Paypal doesen't withdraw any money from your credit card to verify you. they just need the info.
